However, in the haste to rollout a solution it is easy to overlook some important aspects of preparatory groundwork. Also, IT projects are frequently seen as prescriptive and change effected in such a manner may trample roughshod over an existing culture. It is reasonably certain that such an approach provokes academics, de-motivates teachers and may impact student achievement.
